With four vehicle lengths and three roof heights available, the Movano family is sure to satisfy. You can also select from panel van, crew cab, chassis cab, doublecab, box van and other variants to match the vehicle to the tasks ahead. Protective mouldings and tough wheels help the van to stand up to heavy use, and wide opening doors create straightforward access to cargo and the cabin.
When at the wheel, you can be joined in the cab by two passengers who can each enjoy their own individual seats. The driving environment is relaxing and practical, with various storage areas dotted throughout the cockpit to place key items where they can be easily reached. The steering wheel and driver’s seat can be adjusted, so that multiple drivers can make use of the vehicle.
Features and technology
Across the range, a variety of different features and equipment supports you and everyone else who has access to the versatile Movano. Electronic climate control maintains a comfortable temperature in any weather, and Bluetooth® connectivity links you with your colleagues hands-free as you are on the move. Certain models can be fitted with TomTom satellite navigation to lead you to your destinations via the most convenient route. A digital tachograph is also available to record driving and rest time, so you can analyse your fleet motoring patterns.
Engines and performance
Certain engines in the new Movano range offer increased levels of torque at lower revs, at the same time boasting reduced emissions and fuel consumption. The 2.3-litre CDTi can be selected with a power output of 109bhp, 123bhp, 136bhp, or 161bhp, with the two largest including a fuel-saving start/stop system. With a chain-driven rather than belt-driven camshaft, these units require less frequent maintenance. As a slick six-speed gearbox is standard with the Movano, fuel consumption and performance are both enhanced significantly. Front and rear-wheel drive variants also feature in the range, for performance to suit any environment you may encounter.
The safety of the Movano’s occupants and the cargo it carries have both been carefully considered by Vauxhall. Its active technology includes ESP-Plus, a cutting-edge system which automatically adjusts braking force and throttle responses to counter any driving imbalance. The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is included as standard, with the Advanced Safety Assist Pack adding even more features, such as a lane departure warning system.
