AM I ELIGIBLE FOR MOTABILITY?
To be eligible to join the Motability scheme, you should be in receipt of one of the following: Higher Rate Mobility Component (HRMC) of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
WHAT DOES A MOTABILITY CAR INCLUDE?
There are two options available through the Motability scheme: Hire Purchase and Contract Hire. 95% of Motability customers choose the worry-free Contract Hire scheme, which covers not only the car but also the maintenance over the period of the agreement. A Contract Hire Motability vehicle typically includes:
- Tyres
- Insurance
- Road fund tax
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Breakdown cover
- Window or windscreen replacement
- PLUS a new car every three years
